Writers: I Want to Help You (for free)
I know how isolating being a writer can feel. Odds are, you don't have too many friends or family members who are writers, and while there are some awesome writing communities online, sometimes, you just need to talk to someone one-on-one.
I want to give back to a world that has given me so much. I have been lucky to have writers help me along the way and guide me on my path to becoming an author. Now I want to repay the favor. I've always been passionate about service, and as I thought about how I could use my personal set of skills and experience to help others, the following plan came to mind. I'm excited to share it with you because helping writers excites me (seriously!).
What I'm Offering
I have 2-3 spots available each month to sit down via Skype and let writers pick my brain for up to an hour:
- You can ask me anything about writing, publishing, marketing, or how the heck to stay sane while writing ;)
- I will also happily read up to 10 pages double-spaced of your current WIP (regardless of the roughness of the draft) and give you developmental feedback during our call. ( I can't at this time line edit or proofread, but I'll happily give you the name of some editors I've worked with!)
(We'll set up a date and time after you fill out the contact form on this page or email me: firstname.lastname@example.org)
Want to Get to Know Me a Bit Better First?
I totally understand! I'd want to know a writer too before asking for help. There's some basic information about who I am available on my about page. You're also welcomed to connect on Twitter and Instagram. And I truly don't mind emailing back and forth if you want to ask me a few questions.
I can't wait to hear from you!
